Venta del Puerto is not only one of the wines that we are most proud of in our winery. Its name has a long history, in fact, in the library created in Florence under the auspices of Lorenzo Medici "The Magnificent", approximately in 1450, it can already be seen today in the map room of Palazzo Vecchio, a map of the peninsula Iberian where the name of “Venta del Puerto” already appears. Claude de Bronsenbal in May 1532 mentions it in his “Peregrinatio Hispanica”: “… and after climbing a stony mountain we found an old house or shop where travelers They replenish, paying in money, the good wine they serve”.
